• Pawcket does not replace the advice, examination, diagnosis, or treatment of a licensed veterinarian.
• Using the Service does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship between you and Pawcket or anyone affiliated with it.
• Always seek the advice of a licensed veterinarian with any questions about your pet's health, medications, diet, or care.
• Never disregard professional veterinary advice, or delay seeking it, because of information from Pawcket.

3. Symptom Triage

• Triage results, including severity indicators (mild, moderate, or serious), are general estimates based only on the answers you provide.
• They are not a diagnosis and cannot account for everything a veterinarian would find in a physical exam.
• A "mild" result does not mean your pet is safe, and pets can worsen quickly. If you are worried, or symptoms change or persist, contact a veterinarian.
• Incomplete or inaccurate answers can lead to inaccurate results.

4. Toxins and Poison Information

• Toxin and substance information is general and may not reflect the amount, form, or timing of your pet's exposure.
• The danger of a substance depends on many factors, including species, breed, size, age, health conditions, and quantity. The Service does not calculate precise toxic doses.
• Never induce vomiting or give any treatment without guidance from a veterinarian or poison control professional, unless they instruct you to.
• Poison control services are independent third parties, and consultation fees may apply. Pawcket is not affiliated with them and is not responsible for their services or fees.

5. Medications and Supplements

• Medication information is general and does not include dosing instructions.
• Many human medications and supplements are dangerous to pets. Never give your pet any medication or supplement without instructions from your veterinarian.
• Pawcket does not confirm that a dose, product, or prescription is correct or safe for your pet. Always confirm with your prescribing veterinarian or pharmacist.
• Photo scanning of labels and pill bottles may misread or misidentify items. Always verify against the original label and with your veterinarian.

6. Nutrition and Feeding

• Nutrition, feeding, and portion information is general and is not a diet plan for any medical condition.
• Ingredient and label scanning may miss or misread ingredients. Absence of a flagged ingredient does not mean a food is safe for your pet.

• Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence, which can make mistakes, provide incomplete or outdated information, or misunderstand your question.
• AI summaries and information automatically extracted from uploaded records (such as vaccination dates, medications, or the AI Vet Summary) may contain errors. Review and verify them, and confirm important details with your veterinarian.
• General information about breeds, conditions, and preventive care may not apply to your individual pet.

8. Pet Profiles and Records

• Information in a pet profile is only as accurate as what you, co-owners, and shared users enter or upload.
• Empty fields, such as no allergies listed, do not mean a condition or allergy does not exist. They mean nothing has been recorded.
• If you share a profile with a sitter, caregiver, or veterinary professional, make sure the information is complete and current, and do not rely on the profile alone in an emergency.

9. Reminders

Medication and vaccination reminders are provided as a convenience and may be delayed, missed, or fail due to device settings, connectivity, or technical issues. You remain responsible for giving medications as prescribed and keeping vaccinations up to date.
